## Welcome to VineyardElf!

VineyardElf is your intelligent assistant for managing your vineyard and winery. The system collects weather data, predicts disease risk, automates irrigation, analyses plant photos and **keeps track of regulatory deadlines** - all in one place.

## What can you do with VineyardElf?

**Monitor the weather** 🌡️ - connect your weather station or use online data. Track temperature, humidity, rainfall and wind in real time.

**Daily report on WhatsApp** 📱 - every morning at 7:00 you'll receive a summary: weather forecast, frost warnings, disease risk and seasonal tips.

**Protect against frost** ❄️ - the system warns you via WhatsApp, SMS or email when the temperature drops. It can even switch on the sprinklers automatically!

**Prevent diseases** 🦠 - 4 science-based models assess the risk of powdery mildew and grey mould. You know when to spray before the disease appears.

**Never miss a regulatory deadline** 📋 - a calendar with built-in official deadlines for wine producers. The system reminds you a month, a week and a day before each deadline!

**Analyse plant photos** 📸 - take a photo of a leaf and artificial intelligence tells you whether the plant is healthy.

**Control irrigation** 💧 - connect to OpenSprinkler and manage zones from your phone.

**Monitor the winery** 🍷 - track fermentation temperature and cellar conditions 24/7.

## How to get started?

### 1. Set up your vineyard

Go to **Settings > Vineyard** and fill in the basic details:
- Vineyard name and location
- Blocks with grape varieties
- Year of planting

### 2. Connect a weather station

In **Settings > Integrations** add your station:
- Ecowitt, Davis or another supported model
- Or enable Open-Meteo data (free)

### 3. Set up notifications

Go to **Settings > Alerts** and configure:
- **WhatsApp number** 💚 - recommended! Free reports and alerts
- Email address
- Phone number for SMS (optional)
- Temperature thresholds for frost

### 4. Start using it!

On the **Dashboard** you'll see:
- Current weather
- Disease risk
- Irrigation status
- Upcoming deadlines and alerts

**Tip:** Click on any widget to see more details.
