Hardware R&D Section

A new section in VineyardElf for managing hardware projects.

Available Modules

• LoRa Network - your own long-range radio network (2-5 km)
• Drone / OpenMover - integration of cameras on drones and mobile robots
• Sensor Network - distributed sensors (currently Ecowitt, eventually your own)
• Hardware Lab - a hub for projects and prototypes

Roadmap

1. Phase 1: LoRa network - gateway + sensor nodes (IN PROGRESS)
2. Phase 2: Soil sensors
3. Phase 3: Leaf wetness sensor
4. Phase 4: AI edge cameras
5. Phase 5: Mobile robot

Enabling Modules

Go to Settings → Hardware tab and enable the modules you want.
